My name is Steve Edwards. I was born and raised in sunny Orlando, Fl. I am 23 years old and have been wakeboarding since I was 12. I got some of my first glimpses of what was possible on a wakeboard from my back yard, watching a boat full of guys that could do things I couldn't fathom doing on top of a board. It turns out those guys were some of wakeboarding's true elite riders such as Scott Byerly and Gator. Spring Lake remained where I tried to hone my skills throughout my youth and carry on the legacy that the above mentioned started out there. After a few years of layin low and getting through college (UCF) I am looking forward to putting more time and attention back on to riding. I would say my riding style would be mostly tech-tricks and spins, tryin to grab em and hold on for as long as possible. You can find me on one of many lakes here in the greater Orlando area, whether its Drowdey with Wes Brisco, Maitland with Josh Palma or any other of em in between. If I'm not out riding you can probably find me on one of the local golf courses hitting balls off into the woods or lakes. Riding on the GB team is a great experience because its one of the few times where a companies group of riders is really a team. Everyone on board are not just great riders but they are great people too, which sounds corny yes, but its rare to have this true feeling of a team in its purest sense.
